I am currently absorbed in rifling through the drawings on my hard drive and trying to select five or six to display in Croydon Clocktower. There is a very nice little cafe and exhibition space in there with excellent lighting, and quite a few artists and photographers show off their work on the walls. I met up with the chap who organises the exhibition space a couple of weeks ago and he offered me a three week slot in October for the price of two weeks, which was very nice of him.
I've also recently completed a picture for one of the girls at work. She wanted a drawing of her parents on their and supplied a couple of photos of them on their wedding day. She seemed very surprised that I wasn't asking for more money once the picture was completed, although I pointed out to her that the last picture I did ended up costing the recipient nothing, so I'm at least working my way upwards.
