I have to confess that my main motive behind drawing this is irritation at seeing a lot of my childhood heroes being made over to fall in line with society's rampant political correctness. My own feeling is that it makes a stronger statement to come up with a good original black, Jewish, female, gay hero than to hijack an existing character.
