Royal Albert Hall second attempt

I'm having another stab at painting the Royal Albert Hall, this time using a photo taken when the sun was shining, and so far it's going a lot better than the last attempt. A lot of the scaffolding was down when I took the photo, although not all, so I'm having to use my imagination for some of the picture. I'm also trying to be a bit more careful with the colours. The last couple of pictures have taught me not to always use the colours that I can see, but to use a bit of license so as to avoid a picture that's excessively grey or muddy.

As far as drawing goes, I've fallen into a bit of a rut, possibly due to relying so much on photo reference recently. The problem with photos is that you miss a lot of the enjoyment of actually being in the moment, and in many cases I quite like the photo and find myself wondering why I'm bothering to draw it.
