It's the school holidays, which means a few weeks of freedom to be creative - in theory, at least. It is surprising how good other things are at jumping in to fill the void left by the absence of one's nine-to-five. Even without work to get in the way, I find that I still have to push things to one side to make space for drawing, painting and writing.
I've moved on with my Spacecat story to a section that recaps the story of Creation and the Fall of Man - I don't touch on biblical themes in my visual art anywhere near as much as I should, which is a shame, as I've really enjoyed producing the "temptation" picture shown here (colour version in the "Stories" section of this website).
