Star Fleet is a program I remember from my childhood as a sort of Japanese cross between Thunderbirds and Voltron, done entirely with puppets but with several staples of Japanese kids' shows thrown in: spaceships, robots and spaceships that turned into robots. The latter was the highlight of the show, three spaceships that combined to form a giant mech capable of delivering knockout punches to enemy vessels. (After all, why get into a firefight with an invading alien armada when you can punch it into submission?)
