Until recently I had the job of posting Bible verses on my church's social media streams, pairing the verses with images from Pixabay. I'm currently on hiatus from that while the church streamlines its social media accounts, so now seems like a good time to produce something original - there were many occasions when I couldn't find the exact image I wanted to go with a verse, but I knew in my head precisely what I wanted the picture to look like.
Making your own pictures takes longer, of course, but at least with your own pictures you know the same image isn't being simultaneously used by your church's Facebook account and by a gazillion other - less well-intentioned - websites.
