I think you can always tell how desperate the makers of a monster movie series have become when they start genetically splicing their monster with other creatures. The Predator films produced a super-predator in the fourth movie. The Alien films produced a dog-alien in the third movie. The Underworld films couldn't even wait for a sequel, but shoved a vampire-human hybrid onscreen in the first film!!!
I call this phenomenon "splicing the shark".
The images here were done on the same principle, although I decided to stop with the fifth picture before I ran out of space for the creature's name.
