More Adventures in Printing
This is it. The Discworld picture. The last version. Printed and framed and handed over to my mother today. Done and dusted.
In the end, I abandoned the idea of getting a professional printing service to print this - with all the complication and to-ing and fro-ing that that has previously entailed - and instead ordered some photo paper from Amazon so I could print the picture myself on my Canon printer at home. And it turned out better than anything the professional printing services have produced from my images. The first print was too dark, but rather than having to email customer services to request a second version that may or may not also be too dark or light, I just turned up the brightness of the image in my paint program and printed it again. And the second version was fine, and it took about five minutes to do.
And that is how I plan to print my images from now on.
