I've been going through some of my older drawings and using the Gimp to make modifications to the colours as, in many cases, I'm happy with the way the drawing turned out but am not so thrilled by the colour I used at the time. When I resumed drawing about four or five years ago I made heavy use of some leftover colouring pencils, and more or less used whichever pencils were in usable condition - most of these were some shade or the other of blue, leading to an awful lot of blue pictures, although occasionally the odd pink or green picture would pop out :S
The picture here, which is of the elephant chicken-wire sculpture at Waterloo Station, was drawn in a spectacular shade of eggplant, which I have toned down to a more subdued colour. I'm still undecided as to which one works best.
