Nono

Continuing my obsession with 1980s animated comedy sidekicks, here's a Blender homage to Ulysses 31's cute little robot, Nono. As with my other 2D-to-3D projects, this guy threw up some problems during the modelling process, such as "is he wearing a mask or a visor in the cartoon, and should it be modelled on top of his eyes or around them". My next big hurdle with this guy is going to be the rigging and the question of how to make his arms and legs bend with those ring-shaped knee and elbow joints. (Spherical joints on robots make the rigging so much easier!)
